Woonsocket Little League Announces 2018 All Star teams
Woonsocket Little League recently announced the players selected for the League’s 2018 All Star teams as well as the team coaching staffs.
The Major and Senior Division teams will represent the city of Woonsocket in the Rhode Island District 4 Little League Baseball Tournaments which begin in late June or early July. Teams that win the district tournament earn a chance to compete in the Rhode Island Little League State Tournament in most divisions.
Players selected for Woonsocket Little League’s 12U All Star team include Adam Beaudry, Trenton Brin, Michael Cinquantini, Jr., Angel Delgado, Isaiah Figueroa, Shayne Godin, KJ Lopez, Mariano Lopez, Eliu Perez, Connor Thibault, Jaden Violette and Jayden Williams. The team will be led by manager Michael Cinquantini and assisted by coaches Jill Cinquantini and Tom Gray. The 12U All Stars’ first game is against Cumberland National on Saturday, June 30 at 3pm at Garvin Field in Cumberland.
Players selected for the 11U Majors All Star team include Angel Arocho, Andrew Bissonnette, Demetri Brin, Dylan Calore, Ryan Desrosiers, Adrian Escalera, Jose Jorge, Max Garneau, Bryan Guy, Noah Levreault, Josiah Ortega and Jadis Williams. The team will be led by manager John Levreault and assisted by coaches Bill Berube and Andrew Garneau. The 11U All Star team takes on Lincoln on Saturday, June 30 at 5:30pm at Lajoie Field in Woonsocket.
Players selected for the 10U Majors All Star team include Riely Carrio, Ty Chhourn, Julian DeJesus, Joseph Greenless, Braylon Guilbeault, Patrick Munger, Dylan Nickerson, Juleus Perez, Marcus Rollins, Jonah Silva, Adam Soucy and Nathan Tessier. The team will be managed by Jess Nickerson and coached by Jerry Nickerson and Nick Guilbeault. The 10U All Stars kick off their tournament play on Thursday, July 5 at 6pm against Lincoln at Lajoie Field in Woonsocket.
Players selected for the Senior Division All Star team include Ethan Allaire, Nomar Almonte, BJ Beksha, Mike Brouillard, Josh Duprey, Matt Eagan, Deryn Glassey, Adin Hilton, Andreas Lopez, Ed Mulligan, Evan Nickerson, Shane Perrico, Matt Sgambato and Jeremey Vitiello. The team will be led by Steve Sgambato and assisted by coaches Bernie Beksha and Tom Eagan. The Senior Division All Stars take on Smithfield at 7pm at Whipple Field in Smithfield on Saturday, June 23.

The District will again offer through its free mobile app a live scoreboard updated every half inning throughout the tournament.
